Below is a list of things every diabetic should do daily to be healthy. As with any medical advice it is best to talk with your doctor, but here is a starting point.
Follow a healthy diet, your doctor or dietian should help you with this if new to diabetes.Get up and do something. Being active at least 30 minutes a day. Check with your doctor which are best for you.Check your blood glucose and keep track of it. Your blood sugars log is an important tool for giguring out what is best for keeping your levels near normal.Do as your mother said and brush your teeth. Mom does know best!Don't smoke, more advice from Mom. Don't make her tell you I told you so.Take your medicine as directed.Keep an eye on your blood pressure and cholestrol as these are dangerous complications to diabetes.
